Rhosneigr, Anglesey - power of MN help me out!

Google has failed me but I have faith in the power of mumsnet to find the answer.

We were in Rhosneigr last July and there was a house on the main road through the village, Ffordd Mealog, which was being built/renovated to be a holiday let. It had a banner on the fence with the name on but I can’t for the life of me remember it! It was somewhere between Chelford Close and the Y Morfa pub, on that side of the road.

Are there any MNers out there that can tell me what it is called??

I’ve trawled google and various holiday letting websites and just can’t find it.

Hi. Are you sure you're spelling it correctly? Ffordd Maelog sounds more correct if you know what I mean. I haven't googled it or anything.

I'm also not sure about the 'neigr' after Rhos either.

Have you tried google streetview on the section of road that you describe?

Oh yes sorry I misspelled the road in my OP but haven’t in searches.

Have tried street view but it’s not very recent.

Looked on Zoopla/property sales type of websites?

wowfudge · 21/01/2020 13:15

Google Earth is sometimes more up to date than Streetview as it uses satellite images whereas Streetview updates are from the camera cars Google use.

Cheers have tried google earth but no luck

The only one I could see was by the Morfa pub called Dougals. www.dougalsholidayden.co.uk/
On street view it says it's from 2016, there's a big house in the corner of Sisial-y-mor and Ffordd Maelog being renovated. Big blue sign up front but you can't read it. Thats between the pub and Chelford close.

Thanks Troels unfortunately it’s neither of them.

Bumping this for the evening crowd

There's a Facebook group called "Anglesey social media". If you ask on there then someone will know.
