What next to watch after "His Dark Materials" that is kid friendly?

Dc are 5 and 8 and we have loved watching this together. I need another series/mini series with a good storyline for us all to enjoy together.

Any recommendations?

We have been pondering this, but ours are 8 and 11. We probably want ‘older’ (ie, age) things but some are a bit too old.

I thought about Merlin, and then we found Good Omens on Sunday which went down well. I guess maybe look at CBBC series at the ages you have.

Any ideas would be good as there is so much tv it’s become hard to find what you want in amongst all the dross!

I find the CBBC ones a bit "goofy" but would take any recommendations for some which would appeal to both adults and kids.
