Do you have to pay customs/import tax on items from Germany?

Sorry if that’s a daft question! I want to order some clothing from a German company which is quite expensive and with £8 postage.

If there’s going to be another tax on it afterwards, I am tempted to not bother, despite really wanting the stuff!!

Not now, no. After Brexit, yes.

Not yet. After the end of Brexit transition, definitely.
