Porridge pots - can I make a copy?

I often take a porridge pot to work for breakfast but the waste of the tub every day is bothering me.

I have to get to work early to get parked so I have time available there so don't want to get up earlier to eat at home.

I have access to a kettle but not a microwave.

I presume it's just a porridge / dried milk combo? Does anyone make their own??

Just take a box of Ready Brek to work and leave it there.

You can get sachets that are oats and milk- like the moma ones. Think all the Quaker ones need milk adding though.

@MushroomTree absolutely - I make a big Tupperware dish of it and then just put some in a smaller one for work. Just scale up :)

My favourite is with sultanas (30g) and some cinnamon.

@NauseousNancy fabulous. You're a life saver. Thank you!

You are welcome. I was spending £1 a day on the high protein ones. Felt like a waste of money and all the plastic! The ones I make are pretty close to the protein count anyway without even trying Hmm
