Someone stole (?) my rubbish bag!

Had a huge clear out yesterday, one of them ones that has been put off for years...shipped the kids to school/MIL for a full 8 hours of back breaking house cleaning. I managed to accumulate about 5 bags of rubbish/charity shop/loft storage. I put two of them, that were classed as rubbish, in the wheelie bin along with this plastic chair DC used with their drum kit.
The top one was slightly raising the lid of my wheelie bin, went to do the school run at 7.00am today (breakfast club) so it was still dark and the street was dead. Bag was 100% there because I said to DC “remind me to ask dad to push those down later”.
Got back home at about 7.30 and the bag was gone! DH was already at work, bin day is Tuesday, neighbours bins look the same and they aren’t the type to take the bag and put it in theirs anyway, street still quiet. I am fairly sure no animal would have been able to get it out because it was heavy and wedged between bin and drum chair.

It’s been bugging me all day! Where did it go? Can someone suggest something more logical than a massive fox?!

I can't help but I wish someone would co.e and steal some of my rubbish , my bin gets emptied once a fortnight and I forgot to put it out this week Sad

Maybe a neighbour put it in their empty one?

My single neighbour always takes my extra rubbish to her bin for me.

I've seen someone take someone's binbag from outside a house while I was walking behind them. It was a bit weird.

Hopefully you haven't put any identifying stuff in there for fraudsters to use.

Yeah, my first thought was identity theft, but I'm very wary of this after being 'done' last year
