Parents of small babies, please can you measure your blanketsblanket?

I've knitted a blanket for a new baby but now I'm worrying it's too small. It only measures 65cm X 50cm so I'm guessing car seat or pram size maybe but not for size.

The blanket I made for their first baby was way bigger and my youngest baby is now 7 so now I am over-analysing and have nothing to compare to.

If you are the parent of a newish baby and you have nothing better to do right now please would you measure the size of the blanket you use in your pram or car seat and see how mine measures up?

I would be very grateful, I don't want to give them a too-small knitted rectangle they can't use for anything.

Thank you

Prams are tiny now. I make them 2ft long and a tad skinnier, usually.

70x90cms

The square sized ones I have bought recently are all 80 x 80. That's about the right size for a blanket to lay on, or use in pram or carseat here.

The smaller size if probably fine in pram carrycot or car seat also but wouldnt be able to tuck in much on bigger child
