Hello mums..I’m sorry if this isn’t allowed,but I was wondering if there are any mums here with babies /children that have been diagnosed with ITP ?
In our case is due to a viral infection and it’s when the platelets count is dangerously low and your baby bruises really easily .
I’d like to ask a few more questions if any mums know anything or anyone that had/has it.
Any bit of information would be so appreciated !

@Dizzywizz thank you for asking ..he is absolutely fine ,last time we checked his platelets were within the normal range !
He keeps on banging now and no more bruising -well no more than what’s normal 🙈
We’ve decided to not think about it anymore and we think there may be a lot more cases that go undiagnosed ,and we hope it will never come back !
Saying that I’ve been postponing his 12 month immunisation till he recovered completely and is due tomorrow (he is 15 months now),I’m a bit scared to go ahead as I’ve read that sometimes this immunisation can cause ITP . I know how important vaccines are ,so we’re gonna go ahead and pray nothing happens !

@Motherhen322 bless you ,it’s terrifying but they said to me that one is able to deliver a baby even with 50 count (they might have to take some blood beforehand as you will bleed more than usual ) ,but please make sure they have all areas covered.
As for covid-19,a friend of mine is now 40 weeks pregnant and she has just beat the virus..she said it was mild symptoms-both her and the baby are ok!
