Stubborn 1 year old, milk, bottles and sippy cups! MAM soft spout as alternative?

Anyone else run the gauntlet of a stubborn child and drinking milk from a soppy cup and can advice or give moral support...

My DD is 1 and still demanding between 5oz and 6oz of milk twice a day. It’s been a battle with her taste and reflux to get her on to cows milk but I am struggling to get rid of the bottle.

She drinks water from a 360 sippy cup but will not drink her milk from it.
It took 2 weeks of constant trying to get her to accept the water in the 360 cup and she drinks very slowly from it. (Milk goes warm and horrid long before she’s had 2oz let alone the 5oz she wants!)

I’ve tried free flow sippys, doidy cups, you name it!

I’ve found she will drink milk from this cup (link below) but I’m concerned it’s not suitable for her age - I think it’s a bite and suck type spout. Anyone have any ideas? My heath visitor didn’t know!

@Whyismycatanasshat we had a lidded cup with a hole for a straw. I think it came with a plastic one designed for water only but was removable and we replac3d it with a disposable one as milk is difficult to clean up.

That meant the straw couldn’t be taken out but she could sip properly.

We still use straws (DD is 12years now) when she is ill and doesn’t like to drink, she drinks faster with one.

I’ve ordered a Nuby grip and sip cup from Amazon - after doing the 1.5 hour round trip to the nearest Boots who said they had stock; only to discover on arrival, that they didn’t - so we’ll give that a try as soon as it arrives.

I did some googling and the reason for discontinuing bottle use is to do with tooth decay rather than teeth settling in the wrong position as my HV told me. Hmm

Would you mind if I jumped on on this thread?
My 15 month old little girl is currently on 2 bottles of milk a day (morning and night). I'm keen to get her off these but she won't drink water during the day out of sippy cups either. I've tried a variety of different cups from munchkin and tommee tippy, she will have about 30 mls throughout the day but that's it.
Has anyone had similar issues with their little ones? Any advice would be appreciated!
