Who do UTI results go to?

I took DD to A&E today as I thought she had appendicitis. Thankfully she doesn't but she does have a UTI. She frequently has UTI's and is under the same hospital for this. They sent the sample off for testing but I forgot to ask who the results get sent to. Does anyone know if they usually send results to gps or consultants from a&e?

They get sent to the Dr who ordered the test.

That was the a&e triage nurse though when she found out DD has a kidney problem.

It gets sent to the requester, so A&E. They’d call her back in if necessary, but her GP can call A&E (or the lab, depending on local procedure) to get a copy of the results.
