Self service launderette at petrol stations

I decided to use one of these today because there's no drying out and I'm sick of having so much on clothes horses.

I put on a wash about 45 minutes ago and the time on the machine was 36 minutes. I also noticed that the dryer was going and the time on that machine was 32 minutes left.

I started a wash in the washing machine and came back and my wash was complete. I'm now standing here for 10 minutes and the load in the dryer that is not my load is complete but there's no one picking up the load. It must be done for a while now.

There's only one dryer. My wash is complete and I'm waiting for the dryer. I don't drive so I can't bundle a wet load in a bad and carry them home. It would be too heavy because I also have a bag of groceries to get yet.

What would you do here if you were in the same position. There is a free machine in the middle, will I bundle the load in the dryer into the free machine.

Since I began writing this, 15 minutes has passed.

Take their stuff out, fold it whist yours is in.

Take it out and put into basket. Start folding it if I was so inclined.

This has happened many times to me during my student/renting days. It is usually perfectly acceptable to take their stuff out of the dryer and put yours in. As long as you don't just chuck their stuff on the floor (only time I've ever seen someone complain about this!) they really can't grumble about it.

I’d take it out and put yours in. I’m obviously not as nice as others though as I wouldn’t start folding it, I’ve got enough of that to do with my own
