Anyone gone from S9 to S10? I wonder if you know how to...

You know the thumb press in the middle, at the bottom, of the screen that lights up the S9 screen?

Do you know if you can get the S10 to do that?

I can't find a way to do it in settings & found it quite handy to be able to press & half pull the S9 out of it's pocket in my handbag to check the time if I needed to.

Use the power button on the side of the phone? Or have always on display on if you really want.

Double tap the black screen and it will light up. Hopefully that's what you're after.

@bardlion no, the AOD isn't the same thing. It was a long press in the middle of the bottom of the screen that lit it up on the S9. I can't get this one to do the same.

Ah, I see what you mean! I have the a70 and the fingerprint sensor is in the bottom middle of the screen. Even when the screen is off I can touch it and see the lock screen, though took a lot of trial and error to get the position right when the phone was new.

Still not sure what's wrong with the power button. It does the same thing!

It does, but I always put my phone in my bag the same way & the thumb thing was in a better place for lighting up the screen than the power button (for me) if that makes sense.

My S8 did it, found it super annoying! If you can learn the spot you can use your wrong finger so it kicks in the fingerprint scanner but doesnt unlock?
