Quorn sausages in casserole

Got Sainsbury's casserole mix

Calls for 1h 5 mins in the oven

I was planning on just chucking them in from frozen but worried they will disintegrate/turn to mush with that long in oven!

Any advice?

Personally I would probably cook them separately and then add them for the last 10 minutes or so. They have no fat so they don’t add to the casserole in quite the same way as normal sausages. I also often do this with regular sausages too just so I don’t get masses of fat just floating on the top.

Yeah cook separately and chuck in. I find their 'skins' start to separate and slide off and so you just get some weird slimy lumps in stuff.

Thank you. Will do

Already had a hiccup as have no foil so cooking on the stove

And Sainsbury's sent Linda McCartney's sausage rolls as a replacement initially so I feel this dinner is destined to fail
