We were away over Christmas so missed all the television - I’m aware of the tiger who came to tea and Snail and the Whale; what else is there that we should watch on catchup before they disappear? Kids are between 2 and 8

Mimi and the dragon was DDs fave. Lovely story by Michael Morpungo. Its on BBC iPlayer.

We loved Worzel Gummidge here (dd aged 7).

Your 8 year old might like the goes wrong show first episode. Its a christmas play with a rubbish santa. DD loves that too (shes 5 so doent get the all of the jokes). Also IPlayer.

There were lovely programmes about snow cats and snow animals that DS enjoyed. Mostly on the BBC I think, so should be on iPlayer.

Ooh mimis dragon sounds great thank you!

Think I was traumatised by worzel gummidge as a child, is it actually good? Love vicki Pepperdine I think she’s in it? But was still going to avoid it in favour of hiding behind the sofa

Thank you will look for goes wrong show. Is it like the play that goes wrong? They liked Peter Pan goes wrong last year

I don't think it is as creepy as the original. It is quite a gentle watch. With looking after your environment subtext. Although I also loved the original so maybe not the best judge! Grin

Is it like the play that goes wrong

Yes - it's the same people. The Christmas episode was hilarious. It's now a Friday night series - not sure how many episodes though.
