Do they only degrade when composted though? As most biodegradable things don't degrade in landfill - something to watch for. They've dug up newspapers from the 80s in landfill and you can still read them word for word

Boots have them for 75p now too. I love the idea and we are buying them - but I am also a bit concerned about if they will actually degrade in the compost they make via our green bin collections (or if we have inadvertently ruined all of the city’s bio-waste system this week!!!)
