Aldi are selling biodegradable plastic free wipes for 69p per pack

Just thought I'd let you all know as any I've found up to now have been really expensive.

Do they only degrade when composted though? As most biodegradable things don't degrade in landfill - something to watch for. They've dug up newspapers from the 80s in landfill and you can still read them word for word

Boots have them for 75p now too. I love the idea and we are buying them - but I am also a bit concerned about if they will actually degrade in the compost they make via our green bin collections (or if we have inadvertently ruined all of the city’s bio-waste system this week!!!)
