Please link to something in amazon that my difficult 70 year old mother would like

I've given up. She moans about everything anyone buys her.

I want to spend about 20 and literally press a button and it gets wrapped and sent.

She has no interests unless you count moaning about the neighbours.

Flowers? An Oxfam goat...?

CoatTails · 05/01/2020 14:46

These heated blankets are brilliant.
Not sure how much you want to spend on an ungrateful mother though!

I'm saving the Oxfam goat for next Christmas. My parents and siblings were so weird and difficult this year that's what I am doing next Xmas. Can't wait!

Thank you americanhousewife

Everything on that list would give her the rage. Hates anything that reminds her of her childhood, hates anything thst suggests she's old.

70 year olds are not elderly. Mine is 75 and gets cross when you call her old.

What about a book? That’s my standard go to for my mother, book and a good bottle of wine.

Trewser i don't envy you. My DM was the same Grin
I am looking at the toilet seat cover. I don't know whether I really want it or if I'm disgusted 🤢

How about these “soap flowers“? Quite pretty and then would do a nice bath?

I got my Mil who is late 70s a defuser and she always moans but she loved it. Put some lavender oil in it and it's relaxing and maybe it might stop the moaning.

I've done a few diffusers and smelly candles (not anything with the word lily in it though as that means death apparently Hmm)

I've bought her an Emma Bridgewater calendar and some pretty gardening gloves. Not sure if she still gardens but she used to once upon a time. All wrapped and a gift tag, to be delivered tomorrow. Thanks Amazon prime!

And...breath
