... I’m over whelmed by the choice. We will have white furniture and fireplace, dark brown leather sofas. I don’t want the grey too dark but not too light.

I thought we’d have to replace sofas as didn’t think dark brown would work but I’ve seen lovely photos online.

Grey is horrible and about three years out of date - enough with the grey!!

Chic shadow is nice not too dark. If you want a light one then polished pebble x

I moved into my house in August and have the lounge and dining room grey. I looked at all the ones mentioned here and more but found none of them looked grey in my house... More blue/lilac. The only one I found to be grey was from wilko, think it's called whisper grey... Looks stunning, is grey in whatever light conditions I have encountered since moving in.

We have Crown cloudburst in our west facing sitting room and it's very calming.

I too don't care if grey is passé, I love the colour, always have so I still have elements of it everywhere Grin

I think Farrow and Ball Elephant's Breath is grey isn't it?

It looks brown to me, grey to dh. Have it in the kitchen.

We have f&b Manor House grey in the lounge, it’s a true grey with no blue or lilac.

I have Chic Shadow in my bedroom and lounge. Love it. Obviously grey but doesn’t darken the room.

Another vote for chic shadow. Quite cozy in winter but still clear in summer

I have polished pebble in my lounge and i like it. Its a lovely light grey but with a cool tone. I do sometimes think about switching it up to a warmer tone when its daytime as it has a blue tone but then at night i love it.

I would definitely do swatches of each colour you like so you can see what it looks like at different times of the day

We have Laura Ashley Powder Grey - I love it but it may be paler than you want.

Farrow and Ball Elephants Breathe. It's a beige grey. Lovely.
