My DD is on the bigger side so she's a size 13 even though she's 9 I went to Monsoon but the dresses she could fit in were ver much gala like. Any recommendations? As a bonus question, I'm 10 weeks pp and currently a size 10, but unsure if I should stick to that size or Get an 8

I'd get her a lovely pair of leather boots plus leggings and a tunic with a fur gilet or something...a little fur jacket.

what about this dress with white tights and a fluffy cardigan. when is the wedding? if it is very near (as in the next 2/3 weeks) i would stick with a size 10

Could you get a little mock fur, short/should height cape over a longer dress?

Can you get something made by a local dressmaker?

Love the idea of boots.

Good luck, I am sure it will be a very special day.

The wedding is on the 29th of February so still some time to find something. It's indoors but there's a garden available for children to run outside

I don't think traditional party style dresses will be good for a larger 9 year old. I think something slightly different. If you want a dress for her, look for an A line shift style dress and team with boots for a more grown up look.

I didn't think about the boots (she's set on sandals) but that's a good idea. She's also a biggish shoe size (3.5) so she has to buy more grown up ones.
