I really don’t want to go to work, elderly dog poorly and had no sleep but I know I need to go! Bolster me up please!

I'm with you and feel exactly the same! Dh been up coughing all night and the Christmas break has made me realise that I no longer enjoy my job.

I'm hoping it's just post Christmas blues and I will feel better once back in a routine.

Southmouth · 02/01/2020 07:26

Oh no is there anyone that will be with poorly dog?

It’s my first day back at work today and I really don’t want to go!

Knucklehead101 · 02/01/2020 07:28

I always think this is the absolute worst day of the whole year for going to work. The only way is up for us all! X

Sparklybaublefest · 02/01/2020 07:29

for me and perhaps for op, it is only 2 days, makes it better

Spied · 02/01/2020 07:30

I don't want to go either.
Sat here on my bed wishing I could spend the day with dp and DC who don't go back to work/school until Tuesday!
I need to set off at 8.
I am only working until 3. Trying to bolster myself with this thought.
What time will you finish work today?

Joloh · 02/01/2020 07:30

Jump up! Cold flannel on your face. Extra warm jumper. If you can treat yourself to a massive takeaway coffee and a bacon butty on the way, get them.

You can do it!

Bickles · 02/01/2020 07:33

Me too.
I work Tues/ Wed/Thurs though so at least after today I’m off until Tuesday. On call this weekend though.
Onwards and upwards

TokyoSushi · 02/01/2020 07:35

I don't want to go either, everybody else is still off!

I've been off since 20th though so I need to shape up and get out of bed!

whiteroseredrose · 02/01/2020 07:52

I know that feeling. But hopefully when you're actually IN work you'll be OK, assuming that someone will be with your DDog.

Waxonwaxoff0 · 02/01/2020 07:56

Me neither. I have been off since the 19th, ugh.

Motivation!

Fredy45 · 02/01/2020 08:23

I can see the office. It was a v quiet drive and in and I think a lot of people are off until Monday which means I can catch up and do a few chores to be all set for next week.

Still horrible getting up in the dark and leaving everyone else in bed!

whiteroseredrose · 03/01/2020 18:35

How's your DDog dotty12345 ?
