Does anyone have a guitar pick shaped (and sized) cookie cutter?

Where did you get it from, and roughly how much was it, if you do?

I've tried amazon and ebay so far but the one I've found is too big for what I want.

Couldn't you cut around a pick with a small sharp knife instead of trying to find a cutter? How many do you need to make?

Just make one out of a coke can?

Reshape a cheap small circular cutter. Cheaper ones should be easy to bend out of shape.

Elisheva the postage on that one on Etsy is eye watering, I looked at that after posting!!

AhoyMrBeaver 23 (I think, without counting again, plus a few spares) for dd1's birthday cake. I think that is probably what I'll end up doing.

It's probably not really worth paying out for, was just trying to make my life a bit simpler & save a bit of time :)

I have a pick necklace, the lady that made it did actually use picks but I'd just make one on parchment? paper and use that as a template.

Could you reshape a heart cutter?

lucysmam · 31/12/2019 22:59

Right, I have a sort of plan...I'll pinch a pick tomorrow & see if I can re-shape an old cutter around it (I have loads so there must be a fairly flexible one in them), if that doesn't work, I'll save the next drink can one of us has, or get someone to save me one.

What are you actually using it for? Cookies or just cutting icing? A triangle aluminium shape should bend nicely when warm surely into a more rounded corner?

lucysmam · 31/12/2019 23:22

Just cutting icing. I want to pipe 'Happy 13th birthday..." onto them to go round the edges of a cake.

I'll try reshaping one I already have at some point tomorrow.
