So I'm out tonight and I've got this corker of a spot. What's the best approach? I've not squeezed it yet, I'm currently putting TCP on it every couple of hours. Any magical methods that might work would be greatly appreciated!

It's on my chin!!!!

Don't put TCP on it - you'll still reek later 🤣

Hot flannel and hopefully it will pop before tonight

Taddda · 31/12/2019 08:27

Squeeze it! Mud facepack, then let your skin breathe for an hour- moisturise, a good concealer, light diffusing pressed powder

mumderland · 31/12/2019 08:28

I second the hot flannel

GinGenie · 31/12/2019 08:29

Wow that is a beaut! Hot flannel, bit of savlon when its burst and no make up until right before you go out

Solasum · 31/12/2019 08:30

Hydrocolloid plaster will draw it out

Taddda · 31/12/2019 08:33

(As pp said don't use TCP, the smell stays with you! A little tube of peroxide based spot cream from the pharmacy dries it right up, only about £3)
If it helps, ever since Dd2 was born I got those sort of spots on my chin all the time- looked into it and the best cure was 'Aztec Clay mixed with Apple cider vinegar' as a mask once a week (Or when one pops up!)- it clears away the spot as soon as the mask dries plus takes all of the redness out.

Have a lovely night!

Ooh I got a mud pack in my beauty calendar! I'll hot flannel first in the hope I can persuade it to pop!

Off to google those plasters to see where to get them from!

It's not quite as red and white as it was!!
Clay mask and hot flannel popped it (although I think it's a double header!). I then stopped putting TCP on it and found some clearasil which has made it a bit better! I'm hoping it will cover ok tonight. No make up has been applied as I've been in the house all day!

Thanks for your help!!!
