What can I buy that is useful/related to a (luxury) holiday to Thailand

My friend is getting married soon and having her honeymoon in Thailand. I will probably give them some money but would also like to give them something either useful to take with them (I realise they might be all sorted and not want to take extra bumf) or something relayed.

Does anyone have any good ideas/experience?

A lovely light shawl to cover up with? A bag for the beach/pool?

Dependant on the class of travel they are flying in, what about a travel pillow/books/travel spray for sleep/some nice socks (it does get cold up there)/or pair of flip flops for the air-plane to walk around in.

And some Jungle formula Mozzie spray!

My DD and her pal did a Thai cookery course when in Thailand - they had a lovely and memorable day (started by picking the ingredients in a beautiful garden) and she brought the recipes home so is able to recreate a bit of the holiday at home in the kitchen. If you know where they a re staying, could you see if that might be available for them both?

If you know the hotel, how about booking a couples massage or similar?

Our hotel offered a private pool breakfast which was fab.

Nice things for the flight are also a good idea- it's a long journey,

I would phone the hotel and organise for a bottle of champagne to be taken to their room.

weapons grade insect repellent. Dengue fever is no respecter of cost of hotel room.
