New tumble dryer leaking from door

newyearevie · 30/12/2019 07:32

I have a brand new heat pump tumble dryer and on the first use noticed condensation forming at the top of the door. This created a water drop and by the end of the cycle there was a small patch of water on the floor.

Has anyone else experienced this.

I'm pretty sure I should return it as I think it's faulty but thought I'd check if anyone else has noticed this before?

Is it a Candy? Mine did this and they sent an engineer then a new door seal.

Ended up with an exchange as nothing sorted it out.

Yes it is a candy. I don't really want it being modified already. I think this must be a common fault and I'm surprised it's not been sorted yet.

Brand new

Not fit for purpose

Return or replace.

Hi evie,

Is the dryer throwing up any error codes?

Make sure it is on a level surface.

Is the pipe connected correctly and not obstructed by anything?
