How do you make use of your time with the kids before school and work?

I don’t like thinking that I’ve wasted time with time off as a family. What does everyone else do, especially at this time of year?

Not too much is the quick answer. Soft play, went swimming with ds while dd was at the cinema, supermarket, play playstation with ds, boardgames with dd.
