Both of them have a friend over to sleep & the four of them are bouncing about upstairs playing truth or dare.

I watched Dr Doolittle and Elf alone today...

I wouldn't get away with Elf on my own, but I quite enjoy the bit where he's piling his breakfast plate high with sweets

The best bit in Elf for me, is when he gets hit by the taxi. Makes me laugh every time

Dd1 likes the bit where he's dodging traffic; she says he was filmed in real time actually dodging cars (how true that is I don't know & I cba to google to find out!)

I put The boy in a Dress on today for my lot, they all disappeared and I sat watching it by myself, I cried at it!

I can’t get my kids to sit and watch a Christmas film with me! Apparently they’re not half as interesting as watching strangers play random computer games on YouTube...

bobstersmum I'll not even pretend it's for them; I recorded both just for me to watch in peace!

I don't watch much tv, and have Father Christmas on dvd, but The Snowman is one of my favourite things to watch.
