I am moving home due to work commitments into the Newbury/Thatcham area and I don’t know the areas at all (currently live in Essex’s). I am an older mum with grown up children and am looking for a quiet semi rural area but with easy travelling distance to a supermarket and post office, doctors etc. I don’t need to be near any schools but I am a community reader for primary school children so would like to be able to continue this in the area (I have a car and can drive). When I have previously moved I’ve gone on the mumsnet advise so I am hoping I get some answers back now. Thankyou for listening and helping me xx Pam
