La Maison De Sacs - Fake or Real items?

Has anyone bought from them before?

The company is apparently based in the UK, I have just checked the shipping information for the item I bought and the item is being shipped from China.

Have I bought fake items?

As per my other messages , I ordered mine in December , recieved 2 days ago , cheap , not leather, nothing like description . I paid with a debit card , got a full refund from my bank . Lesson learnt . Got the refund and bag (which I doubt I will use tbh)

Spartonian · 02/02/2020 12:19

Still nothing received and the company keep telling me to carry on waiting, delivery should be soon.

How did you pay? If it was paypal the they may refund if the cost of returning the item is unreasonable or it is misdescribed

Don’t buy from them. I bought a bag thinking it was coming from the U.S. and it took ages to arrive, as it was actually coming from China (very misleading on the website). It then proceeded to fall apart as it was so poorly made - the stitching all came unravelled, two of the zips broke, a rivet fell off, the lining tore in two places and the zip pull ripped off - so I couldn’t even open the bag anymore. This was all happened with only a few days of normal use. Unfortunately I bought several months ago to use on holiday so was too late to get a refund. And funnily enough the ‘today only’ sale has so far lasted four months 🙄

Omg it’s cheap rubbish tat! Paid £24.99 for phone case and I could’ve bought it from local market for £8! So disappointed I fell for it!

SDN666 · 07/04/2020 13:40

Hi, I also wish I had seen this before buying from them, I bought a "leather" backpack from, when it finally arrived, it turned out to be a cheap leather imitation which I wouldn't have paid half the price for! I'm really angry as like everyone my money is hard earned and I rarely treat myself to a nice item. I have been in touch with Trading Standards about them, but don't know how to get a refund even though this item is clearly missold and not as described. I have sent several emails but received no reply. Scam companies like this should not be allowed to get away with this!!

LynnieW · 07/04/2020 14:14

I bought a phone case! Took absolutely ages to arrive (5weeks) and was horrendous quality and looked nothing like picture! Will NEVER use again!

Did anyone honestly believe this site was genuine when they ordered??

SDN666 · 08/04/2020 09:34

No of course we didn't think it was genuine, we thought we'd waste our money for the hell of it..

PoppliosBubble · 08/04/2020 09:39

They’re very clearly fakes. I’m sorry but if you genuinely believe that you’re buying a genuine, brand new Gucci bag for £30 then you’re going to get stung. You either know they’re fakes and bought them anyway or you are incredibly naive and shouldn’t be trusted to buy things.

SDN666 · 08/04/2020 09:43

It wasn't advertised as Gucci or any other label, just supposed to be a leather bag on sale

MissLula62 · 15/07/2020 23:20

Trying to get my money back from 'Mary'.... They refuse to cancel my order... Gutted as I'm normally really careful, but I never buy the rubbish stuff from China... Stupid me and will look closer and further into it next time.... Although I'm trying to report them to Facebook where I first saw the advert....

ScottyDottyDooDah · 16/07/2020 07:16

Why do people still get ripped off by sites like this? It takes two seconds to type "Maison de Sacs reviews" into Google, whereby you'll be met with lots of people asking if it's genuine - a red flag, surely?

Coupled with the terrible English on the website, as well as the fact that the likes of Gucci wouldn't associate themselves with this sort of site, or peddle their wares at such low prices, it's astonishing to me that anyone would think what they were getting would be genuine.

You actually deserve to be ripped off IMO, just for being slack. DO YOUR RESEARCH.
