Why don't I need to stretch anymore? Do you stretch?

I'm not talking about yoga or warming up for exercise. I used to need to stretch a fair bit when I was younger, like in the morning or after sitting down for a bit and it felt great. Now I'm older, fatter and 2 kids later I feel tight and hunched all the time really but I never feel I 'need' to and if I just try anyway it does nothing. Is this normal as you get older or is it just because of my terrible posture and general slightly overweightness? I'm 31 by the way, not older in an elderly way.

Do you have to try? Do you do lots of exercise? I walk a lot but don't do anything else really, I want to feel that need to stretch and the amazing feeling of relief after!

Oh I love a good stretch, especially when I wake up, a lovely bed stretch is one of life’s pleasures Smile I’m 52
