What champagne or wine or other favourite drinks will you have for New Year?

I want to try a couple of Californian sparking wines, as would like to have something new (to me). This is my first Christmas living in the US so would like to get to know some American wines. Open to recommendations if anyone has something they like!

What will you drink to toast the New Year?

A large cup of tea. I'm on a 12.5 hour shift NYD so I will sleep through it!

Possibly a gin and tonic but more likely a cup of (decaff) tea for me too.

Tea always a good choice, except nowadays I can't drink it after 4pm or so or I can't sleep! Am yet to find a decaf I like, the Yorkshire one was the closest I got but still didn't quite hit the spot - what decaf do you drink?

Brew Co loose leaves. I've yet to find a really good decaff teabag but have tried many. I can't drink more than a couple of sips of sparkling wine without getting a headache, I'm such a lightweight.

Two Californian wineries I've been to visit myself that do great quality sparklies are Schramsberg and Iron Horse. You can't go wrong with either of those. Enjoy!

Not helpful to you but I have an English sparkler (chapel down) in the fridge for NYE. Cheaper but better quality than champagne at the same price. If I was in the US for NYE, I'd probably go for a US sparkler so your choice sounds good too.
