Looking at replacing our mattress they’ve l popped up quite a bit throughout our search.
Does anyone have one or know anything about them?

Yes and I love it. We'd only had our previous mattress 4 years (came with the bed) but my partners back was constantly hurting when he woke up.
We shopped around and decided on the Emma coupled with the fact you can return. It's quite firm but it's so comfy and my partners bad back disappeared straight away. Would definitely recommend

Perhaps you could look at the Simba or Eve if you are looking for softer? They are the other two we tried. We definitely returned the Simba for being too soft for us. The Emma is not hard but is definitely firmer.

I had the laura Ashley pocket sprung mattress that came with my bed for two years but found that whenever I spent longer than 6 hours in bed, if I had a lie in or watched a film my sciatica would flare up.

I’ve had an Emma mattress for a couple of weeks now and no more back pain. I didn’t sleep very well the first few nights as it’s a lot firmer than my old mattress, but I think it’s moulded to my shape now so it’s more comfortable. I paid £389 for a standard double including delivery, direct from Emma. Would highly recommend!

Emma sell refurbished mattresses on eBay for even less money. Worth checking what their returns process is there too.

I actually find the Emma a lot softer than I expected but it's supportive soft, so it's actually nice for me who likes a firm mattress! I think Which have softness ratings - the Emma is rated soft by them:
'In our firmness tests, the Emma ranked as an eight on a scale where one is the firmest and 10 is the softest.'

So I'm surprised that people think it's too firm or firm as it's not at all in my opinion!

We got an Emma mattress about 5 weeks ago. I'm a side sleeper and one side of my back would be aching in the morning. No more. DH sleeps on his back and also loves the new mattress.

We had been trying out new mattresses and couldn't agree on one so gave Emma a go due to their money back guarantee.

Ended up buying DS one as well as he had been complaining about a bad back.

They do lots of money off codes so don't pay full price. Delivery was prompt as well.
