Hi, key bits of info - - Myself 25 partner 27 - been together 7 years - Partner has raised my daughter since she was 6 months old and is a great dad (bio dad not around) - We have our own house together - I have never got on with partners father or his fathers partner/his mother isn't around so he is close with his father - His father always has spoke to me. my daughter and my partner which is his son, with disrespect - Recently I stood up for my daughter and partner as they were being shouted at by him for no good reason, his father kicked me out of the house, swore and told me not to come back - Partner didn't speak to his father for a few days but when they did he only apologized to him and not me, my partner said that he told his father he was out of order for speaking and acting like that however I haven't had an apology from him. - we recently got engaged and I now don't know what to do! why do they dislike me, why didn't my partner stick up for me more! I don't know what to do, me and my partner have both been stressed with it and snapping at each other lately, can I get married without his family and just continue to avoid them all of my life ?
