Anyone fed up with Ocado?

Ocado cancelled my smart pass because of a failed payment - fair enough, my fault, but I wasn't warned it would actually be cancelled.

They're now offering to renew it at twice the monthly price, and it's taken me two phone calls to even get any progress on the issue - still with no guarantee I'll get it back.

I know this is very much a first world problem but I really feel that Ocado has gone downhill in terms of customer service. I've been feeling for a while as if they reward new customers to entice them but they're not bothered about retaining existing customers.

I've been considering moving to another delivery for a while - does anyone have any recommendations? What is Waitrose like? I like the wide choice of products on Ocado, the reliable delivery and lack of substitutions. I'm no longer enjoying their customer service.

I’ve used them for years and defended them in many threads. BUT, I’ve cancelled my Smartpass as I received veg and bread that were mouldy on delivery or mouldy within days too many times. Yes, you can complain and get a refund but that’s besides the point. The delivery drivers and clearly struggling with bag less delivery and are very bad tempered.

Do any of the other supermarkets let you have the same slot every week/fortnight/monthly automatically and you can select which items automatically go into the trolley every week/fortnight/month? That's what keeps be using ocado, that and the fact I've not had a substitution in 5 years.

I’m moving to Waitrose from Ocado because I don’t want to buy M&S food, I want Waitrose food!

My last 2 Morrison's deliveries have been 3 and 2 hours late respectively and about 2/3rds if it missing or substituted - I've given up this week and gone to Sainsbury's

I cancelled my smart pass over a year ago and moved to Waitrose. Ocado became too unreliable, too many deliveries either late or not turning up at all. No problems with a Waitrose so far. I think delivery is free but you need to speak £60. Same goes for Christmas slots.

Their substitutions can be a bit rubbish though.
