I have a beef joing and a bacon wrapped turkey joint. Just from aldi.

I'm thinking I might cook them tomorrow just to take the pressure off.

Do I allow them to cool then refrigerate?

Yep. I'm doing this for the first time this year. Fed up of faffing with everything not fitting in the oven on xmas day so taking the pressure off.

Same.

Think I might prep the veg too

I've prepped my veg too and the table is set, dishes all out. I want to do the bare minimum tomorrow.

Do you all reheat them in the oven on Xmas day? Don't they dry out?

gamerchick · 24/12/2019 22:35

I've got the beef in the slow cooker ready to set off at midnight.

Turkey in the oven in the morning.

Oops thought this was a fresh thread Grin I thought it was odd.

Worried here that the men don't give a shit about any of this provided it is served up to them!

OK I know the men do THINGS. But honestly, the angst that some women have about the perfect Christmas Dinner is disappointing.

My beef joint is in the slow cooker on low now

Not here, this is the only input I'll have into the dinner. Husband is going to lock himself up in the kitchen with Christmas tunes and I'm getting sent into the living room with a beer. Not allowed to help. Apparently I get in the way. Angry personally I think 2 pairs of hands are better.
