Can I return an open duvet to Argos? There's no way I can get it back in the bag!

It was in a plastic bag wrapping with handle.

Just opened it and it's awful quality.

Really want to exchange for something else but there's no way I could get it back in the packaging. Could I just take it WITH the packaging Confused

Well they can’t resell it like that can they? Confused

I worked in retail and we would have accepted it for a return but this was about 10 years ago and not Argos. However I would certainly go and ask them, I’d say there’s a good chance of them exchanging.

Yes,just take the wrapping with you.

I’ve found Argos to be really good with returns. I didn’t 3xpect them to be, but they were, so I would definitely go in and see.

Ask. I worked in Argos. They are under no obligation to accept it as a return. But they do tend to be decent where they can be.
Obviously as a caveat, don’t go returning it tomorrow and be nice to the shop assistant.

There would be NO way to see the quality without piercing the bag though and it's the sort that's so tightly packed it just rips wide open upon tearing.

I used to work in Argos and we would accept pretty much anything so worth a try! I'm sure I've accepted curtains or duvet or something like that in the past Smile

I once went to M & S and the duvets were tightly packaged with a sticker on saying “non returnable if removed from packaging”.

I asked the assistant if there was a sample I could feel but she said no.

I went to Dunelm as they have full sized duvets on a hanging rail and make it easy to choose from a large selection.

It’s worth trying to return to Argos “nothing ventured, nothing gained”.
