They are putting a George in normal clothes.
UC will make them poorer.

I also suspect it will be a storm in a teacup. I actually do like them but I doubt it's anything more than new charity work. And I think they should be leading the way in making others lives easier. We have a lot of work to do in this country.

It won’t be anything that the rest of us would regard as a major announcement. It’ll be some boring blather about their Foundation and charity work 🙄.

If you read the article though it goes on about Catherine's charity work.

It will be something about them setting up a new charity or her taking a more active role in some other charity.

If this has any substance behind it at all, my guess would be redistribution of Royal charity patronages.

HMQ turns 94 in 2020, and the Duke of Ed retired when 95. I expect this will be the first of a number of redistributions over next 18 months or so. And will be charities relinquished by Prince Andrew, which is why the announcement is coming from the Cambridges, not as it usually would be, the Palace.

And that 'over the Christmas period' means 'about same time as New Year Honours list'. Which leads to second guess that she's been awarded some sort of new gong.

Third guess is a new baby. It wasn't they who said they would have no more than two.

William had been planning to announce that the queen and Charles would both accidentally die over Xmas, and he'll be crowned in the new year.

He then realised this would raise suspicions so instead he will be making use of the lion onesie Kate bought him from primark for Xmas and singing and dancing live to 'I just can't wait to be king'
