Morning sickness: not pregnant

Anyone else had this? What caused it?
Nauseous all day - feels exactly like early pregnancy. The kind of nausea that gets better when you eat. But only certain foods as I also have that food aversion feeling. Really want ice lollies so maybe a bit dehydrated.
Never had a bug like it but it could be. Oldest daughter has diarrhoea (I don't).
Just hoping to be better for Christmas Sad

a) it's a mild form of the bug that's going round
b) you've got a bit of a stuffy nose at night and it's draining as you sleep
c) low blood sugar overnight/not eating enough in the evening

Tonii1985 · 20/12/2019 16:52

Thank you - a bit of googling suggests low blood sugar. I got an early night but don't feel I slept well. Could be any all of above!

Have you changed contraception? Some pills made me have morning sickness

littlepooch · 20/12/2019 17:03

This is exactly what I have at the moment. I am feeling so so sick - exactly like when I am pregnant. But not actually being sick. I can't face any food at all - the smell of kids tea is making me retch.

I'm also really really achy all over and alternating between hot and cold. No idea what's wrong with me!

Tonii1985 · 20/12/2019 17:32

I'm not on hormonal contraception but tbh my hormones are a bit up and down at the moment.

Maybe it is something going round?

I had similar when I had gastritis- it got better when I ate but always came back again. A course of omeprazole sorted me out.

Magpiefeather · 20/12/2019 18:48

I started getting this leading up to ovulation! Keep an eye out if it comes back next month

Tonii1985 · 20/12/2019 19:22

Omg I'm due to ovulate!! Will def keep an eye next month. Can I ask how old you were when this started happening?

32

SchrodingersUnicorn · 20/12/2019 20:55

I felt like this when I had an ovarian cyst. Is that a possibility?

NoClueWithStyle · 20/12/2019 20:56

Acid reflux?

BloomedAgain · 20/12/2019 20:57

Mind blown. I had this and an ovarian cyst but didn't make the connection!
