A handhold please - I know I’m pathetic to need it.

This is nowhere near the violence and aggression I know some MNetters deal with at work (or at home for a small number with DC with SEN).

Bad end to work. My last call at work now an hour ago was to a client who was quite rude. I handled it as well as I could but I still feel shit. His behaviour put me off my stride so there are a couple of things I didn’t say can’t be corrected now as can’t contact again (tried).

I know I did my best, but it isn’t making a difference to my feelings. In a coffee shop with tea. Want to cry (did privately when got out of work). I’m due my period so that’s probably not helping. I feel pathetic

What do you do after a bad day? I’m going to be cleaning the house, maybe a drink later.

You're not pathetic, you have the right to have feelings. Have a handhold.

It's not pathetic at all. Your feelings are valid.

After a bad day I always have a hot bath with a film on and a hair wash. Just something about cleaning my hair helps clear my mind. In fact, I'll be doing this tonight. It's not been a bad day but one where I genuinely have only just sat down aside from during breastfeeding so I'm in need of a bit of a clearer mind.

I hope tomorrow is a better day for you. Take care of yourself Thanks

No shame in crying either, a good weepy film can make you feel better. No one has the right to be rude or make you feel bad Flowers tomorrow will be better Smile
