Are we likely to get a turkey for Christmas this late?

As title says. We were waiting to exchange / complete on our house and it didn’t look likely but now an actual Christmas miracle has occurred and we have the keys so it’s a go-go

Am I completely naive to think we might still get a turkey from somewhere? Anyone had luck this late on and any recommendations where to try?

Have you heard of a supermarket before OP Grin

I’m enjoying the sassy replies Grin

It’s literally been so far down on my list I haven’t really considered it, but there is a fair bit of frothing on my local FB group about turkeys being unavailable and a few threads on here about sold out turkeys

Congrats on the new house!
Supermarket will be fine but go early, as soon as they open if you’re particular. By the afternoon of the 24th it can be slim pickings although if you’re not fussy you can get some great reduced bargains.

(Had a seasonal job running the Turkey orders for Waitrose for 2 years running so I know my stuffing)
