Stocking presents for teenage boys

I'm looking for inspiration for small presents to go into stockings for 14, 15 and 17 year olds. Have foodie bits and a gift card each but really struggling with any other ideas. No obvious hobbies etc. Has anyone come across anything brilliant they would care to share? Thanks so much!

This is the first year I've struggled with my two (Well the 17yo, the 13yo us no problem).

17yo is getting (consults Amazon orders)

  • t shirt
  • food flask (got for ds2 and thought ds1 could have one as well - he does scouts & is doing DofE so hopefully will get some use)
  • big Smarties tube
  • big Twin Peaks (Poundland Toblerone knockoff)
  • cheap earbuds (he requested)
  • superglue (he requested - to repair his arrows)
  • hope punch
  • selotape dispenser
  • copy of the Highway Code
(he keeps taking mine of these two)

The only 2 things he asked for cost just under £10 and despite me asking he says there is nothing he wants. I'm going to pay for the rest if his driving lessons for him (his dad gave him some money towards them for his 17th but it won't go far).

13yo is getting;

  • airpods
  • food flask
  • big Smarties tube
  • big Twin Peaks
  • hockey gloves
  • hockey ball
  • ski tie (school ski trip at Easter)
(Has also requested hockey shin pads, school bag, hockey bag, pasta maker - all ideas given to other family members who have asked. And has just said he needs a new hockey stick - which I've ordered and he will have got his birthday in January)

Extendable marshmallow forks and marshmallows which will fill the stockings up!
Decathlon do small fold up rucksacks which mine find useful if shopping in town and cooler than a shopping bag.

small lego kit
pack of tissues with a dog picture
vintage car badge
electronic bits for making kits
small notebook again with dogs on
a christmas book

His main present from me this year is an Amazon voucher so he is mega excited.

I've been struggling for 15yo DS1... his requests this year were v. modest, basically a JD voucher, a new phone charger, hair gel and a comb (?!). In his stocking he will be getting (as well as socks/chocs):

mini Banksy calendar
zombie shower gel (saw recommended on another thread)
eco spray for smelly walking boots
Galaxy hot choc sachet
the specific hair gel he asked for
Dos card game (he loves Uno)
sticky note tabs
exfoliating face pad thing from Body Shop (which he prob won't use)
Roald Dahl Tales of the Unexpected
Liverpool magazine

(I like the sound of that Decathlon folding rucksack!)

Favourite bottle of drink like Fanta, Coca Cola.
Body spray
Decent Shower gel
Bath bomb - Lush ones are a bit pricy but not too feminine
Little matchbox sized quiz boxes - sports, movies, pub quiz. Most of the supermarkets are selling these this year.
Mental puzzles - like wooden pieces that you have to put together in to a sphere or metal shapes that are linked together and you have to separate.

Stocking fillers get harder each year. DS is 16 and he’ll get a Trumpisms 365 calendar, selection box, a book called something like 50 times Britain was a bellend, a couple of Greggs vouchers and a couple of meal deal vouchers for Subway. Under the tree he’ll have some clothes, some smelly stuff, a new hockey stick and AirPods. I think he’ll love the AirPods but it will be a close thing between them and the Subway meal deal voucher for his favourite present. HmmGrin

catchingzzzeds · 18/12/2019 11:51

In his stocking my DS has

A scratchcard
Flint fire lighting kit
Chocolate Santa
An alarm clock
Novelty security alarm

Enko · 18/12/2019 11:52

Torch

Deodorant of special type (ds has molton brown)
Body wash
Tube of pringles
Tie
Socks

Lovelylugs · 18/12/2019 11:56

Back up charger, plug in phone speaker for better volume, Sugru kit (flexible glue to repair lots of tech gagets) headphone jack for using two sets of head phones, nice wallet and belt set, hot chocolate/ cappuccino sachets, nice pen sets, tubs of chewing gum and hair wax.
