Current phone (iPhone 8). I’m not 100% sure they all got on there as many are from when my ds was a baby and somehow I have managed to download thousands of photos onto my phone from my iCloud. I have ordered the 11 and it is arriving tomorrow and I don’t want 4000 photos on there, I want to start afresh. I have searched the internet but I am just not understanding how I remove the photos from my phone as I am
Assuming tomorrow when I set up my new phone using iCloud, it will download all the photos onto it? I have a Mac and in days gone by before I became a slave to Apple I used to simply store all my photos in files but from what I have read if I delete a photo off my
Mac (that was taken on my
Phone and uploaded to the cloud) it will delete it permanently. I have tried google photos but when I deleted the photo off the iPhone it also deleted it in google
Photos. I am totally confused by this and just want somewhere I can store my photos that’s easily accessible and secure.
