What on earth is this doll meant to do?

Toddler chose a doll from a charity table fayre, it has odd parts on its body like you err insert something into it? Has anyone got one or know what it’s called?

I don’t know. But might they be for keys? To make noises or something.

They look like the holes on the back of a picture that you use for placing on the wall fixture. So something meant to fit into them rather than a key ?

Never seen a doll like that though .

Are there screws inside? Is it just a way of fastening the two pieces of body together - I've seen dolls like that before but the screws are usually on the back.

Has it got a brand name on anywhere? I've seen one before I vaguely remember but cant remember what it was for

Definitely not screw holes, no brand name on it anywhere, when you move the dolls legs it makes it’s head and arms move.

Put a babygro on it quick to hide its weirdness and make sure its legs keep still, then it wont do too much funny business 😁

I remember those in the 70s. I think they're for the internal workings.

No name or serial number on back of back or her/his bum?

Maybe it's clockwork and when you wind it up it flails about and cries.
