Hiding in my room - pretending to be sorting presents!

It's magical.
The general Xmas overload is hitting and I'm being forgetful and distracted which is making me stressed and grumpy.
So I'm hiding my in room on the pretence of sorting presents so no one can come in. In reality I'm chilling out and pissing about on my phone.
It's a revelation!

I've just done exactly the same thing for an hour! And I intend to do it for at least an hour tomorrow afternoon as well. Perfect excuse for a bit of lazy peace.

I've been doing this since the end if November Grin
About 6pm 3-4 days a week I'll moan to dp that I've got stuff to wrap and presents to sort and I'll trudge upstairs, shouting at the DC not to follow as I'm sorting things to send to Santa.
I then lay on the bed and enjoy my secret box of quality street. (dispose of the wrappers discreetly in my pocket later) and read a couple of chapters of a book.

Dh is our with ds. Dd is upstairs napping at present and I’m watching the handmaids tale and having a cup of tea. I have blitz cleaned the house as we have friends over this evening.

Tomorrow I’m absolutely doing it!
