...carrier block the iPad/IMEI, if the seller had bought on a monthly service from a carrier and then go on to default on the contract payments? Does anyone know?
I'm wondering is this is a risk buying an iPad on eBay? Looking for one for a gift and suddenly thought about this when doing a price comparison that showed Carphone warehouse deals. Not sure if you'd be covered 6 months down the line if they did exactly that right?
I can get a bigger spec model for less, but worried about this being something carriers do and would do? Bit like a car on finance.
