Buy euros now or wait till results are in?

I’m going to stay with family in Europe for Christmas. Trying to work out if I should by euros tonight for the best rate? Buy now or wait for probable Tory win results to exchange?

Officially, but even people who live in Euro lands use Euros for plural, so it must be OK for us too.

My German family and friends call them Euros.

We said francs, pesetas, dollars and pounds

It went to 1.20 but slipped back slightly now. You might be able to get 1.18 with Fairfx or similar.

We are going to Thailand on Tuesday and we bought our baht this morning, got an extra £20 due to the election result :)

I did pretty well in the end. Spent £255 and got €300.
