I know it’s Election Day/night but....I’ve got a job!

It’s been five years since I was in work as I’ve been supporting DS who is autistic.

Today I had my frost job interview in five years and I got it

It’s not high powered or anything but I’m going to be a teaching assistant in a special school for 30 hours a week.

It’s what I know to be honest. I am also a qualified nurse and midwife but not sure I have the energy to do a Return to Practice course ,

Spent the morning in a class of children who were taking part in an animal care class. We had out guinea pigs, rabbits and stick insects and the children loved it.Had a great chat with some of them and one little girl was then keen to show me some of her other work. I LOVED it.

At the end of the morning the head teacher offered me a job and I start in January.

Going to be earning my own money again and I can’t wait.

So...I know it’s election and all that but I am SO happy.

Anyway I’m thrilled for you.
After a terrible year last year and this my son starts his first job next week with a reputable company after netting the job in October
