it looks like a very carb / fat heavy menu. I think I would try to find some satsumas or clementines, preferably with their leaves on as t looke nicer and take them.

If you really need to make something then biscotti to go with coffee after the meal are easy to make .

Simonsaysitschristmas · 12/12/2019 11:25

A selection of salads to go with the pizza?

olivertwistwantsmore · 12/12/2019 11:30

Great ideas, thank you. I think salads sound like a good plan. Greek salad and mozz and tomato salad.

I'd probably just bring booze.

AdaColeman · 12/12/2019 11:51

Salads are a good call, but mozzarella & tomato just repeat the pizza flavours, so why not take something different? Coleslaw, Waldorf salad or Caesar salad perhaps?

Xiaoxiong · 12/12/2019 12:00

I'd do a kale caesar salad or an iceberg wedge salad.

JoyceJames · 12/12/2019 12:29

Clementines in brandy.

ButterflyWitch · 12/12/2019 12:33

Bananas

OlaEliza · 12/12/2019 13:01

My favourite salad is
Spinach, rocket & watercress
Cucumber
Tomato
Red onion
Avocado
Dressed with s, p, olive oil & lemon juice.

It's nice with feta and olives in too.

olivertwistwantsmore · 12/12/2019 13:26

An iceberg wedge salad??

Bananas???

Actually, to go with pizza I'd take chicken wings and coleslaw, maybe a salad as well.

NoNewsisGood · 12/12/2019 14:30

Salad and fruit seem the things that are missing, so a good thing to take. Although, after pudding has gone down....people might like some nice chocolates to pick at later in the evening?

dreichXmas · 12/12/2019 14:40

I would also vote for a salad.
Maybe an iceberg wedge and a Greek salad.

Xiaoxiong · 12/12/2019 14:44

Iceberg wedge salad is a classic! I like it with bacon bits as well, but these are veggie:
