It's election day and I still don't know who to vote for

I can't vote for the current Tory racist, xenophobic, power hungry ethos.

I can't vote for Labour's business and economic policies.

I can't vote for the Lib Dem's erosion of women's rights.

@barbedwyer- who is the second most popular party after conservative , in your area ? Vote for them to at least keep Boris out.

RoseHippy1 · 12/12/2019 15:02

*to at least TRY to keep BJ out. I understand it’s a safe seat but that’s what I’d do x

KittenVsXmastree · 12/12/2019 15:14

@slipperywhensparticus is he standing?? Our sex pest isnt standing, but his ex wife is......

simonisnotme · 12/12/2019 15:27

im with you OP, cant decide so I havent

fedup21 · 12/12/2019 15:32

Labour would make all of the things you’ve mentioned far far worse very quickly. The conservatives would allow them to get worse gradually

I think the conservatives have made all those things get pretty bad, pretty fast, to be honest.

Barbe if you want Brexit over and done with vote Lib Dem who support Revoke (ie stop leaving).

Brexit will take years, a decade maybe to sort - trade deals take years to negotiate. Boris' Get Brexit Done is a total lie. Agreeing a WA is only the very beginning of the process.

Else vote Labour, who will do another referendum with Remain as an option.

To everyone saying I'm implying you should vote labour to help schools and the nhs - yes that is my personal opinion HOWEVER if you think the tories would make less of a mess of it then vote for them. Just vote for SOMEONE.

Spoiling your vote or not voting is not going to "send a message". No one will give a f*ck. Only votes count. If you spoil or abstain you are the problem.

colouringinpro · 12/12/2019 15:34

PS Corbyn has no chance of winning a majority so you're not going to end up with him as PM if you vote Labour.

Hazardexhausted · 12/12/2019 15:40

Labour wont get a majority and will need propping up with SNP who will make them moderate.

however if lib dems likely to win in your area go for them.

Vote to stop Tories because they are the worse of a bad bunch.

simonisnotme · 12/12/2019 15:50

if labour get in they will screw over our kids with the increase in inheritance tax

fedup21 · 12/12/2019 15:55

The conservatives have ALREADY screwed over our kids with £27k tuition fees, Michael Gove’s curriculum changes and cuts to school budgets.

colouringinpro · 12/12/2019 16:37

a) They won't get a majority

b) The Tories are destroying the NHS. Can all your family afford private healthcare? cos 90% of the UK can't.

RoseHippy1 · 12/12/2019 16:40

if labour get in they will screw over our kids with the increase in inheritance tax

This is just so incredibly selfish and shortsighted.

Exactly-I’m personally hoping for a Coalition.
