Has anyone had a similar pregnancy?

Hello
I am 37, 2nd pregnancy, unexpected but delighted. Found out 4 weeks in. Light bleeding at 5 weeks, ultrasound showed everything was fine but the baby was approx a week behind in growth. 2nd ultrasound 2 weeks later showed baby was still growing slow.
3rd ultrasound (10 weeks pregnant) showed baby was right where she should be and eveyththing looked great.
2 days later I began to bleed heavy...and I mean so heavy I did not expect it could survive.
Ultrasound done at hospital showed 2 subchorionichematomas but also they said the fetus was funneling down very low in cervix. They told me to expect a miscarriage. I saw my obgyn the same day who said they were wrong and all may be fine. He told me to go home and come back in a week.
It had been 5 days, my bleeding slowed down and had changed to brown and now to pink jelly like discharge, still have cramping off and on. I feel like I get conflicted info everywhere...at this point I am so confused and detached after so many scares I'm not sure what I want.
Has anyone had anything like this happen? Can the fetus move back up? I cant seem to find this info anywhere...:(
Any info appreciated

Hiya, I dont know if this will help but I'm now 35 weeks pregnant and had an early scan due to light bleeding. It turns out I had a small subchorionic haematoma and the lady did say that basically it will either correct itself or it will cause the fetus to pass along with it if that makes sense. However my SH was found early on and was small, the sonographer said it was most likely caused by the placenta attaching to a different site.

So your ob is right that baby could still be fine; but unfortunately it is just a waiting game right now to find out :( do you have a scan booked soon? I remember the angst of waiting to see if the baby would be okay at my 12 week scan, my heart goes out to you Flowers

My first pregnancy was nearly identical to this (apart from the fetus sitting low in the uterus). The big bleed tapered off by 14 weeks and I had no further issues with bleeding or growth, all turned out well. It is so stressful when you start googling about subchorionic haematoma, but there is a very good chance that everything is going to be just fine.

I had bleeding in both my pregnancies (both DSs).DS1 from 6-17 weeks and DS2 from 6-14 weeks. Both down to haematoma. Good luck OP hope all begins to go smoothly soon.
