Last day of my forties....

Today is the last day of my forties, so what advice would you give me as I shuffle into my sixth Shock (!) decade??

Looking for some wise words, as well as some lighthearted banter.......I'll be at work all day tomorrow, so may need some humour to keep me going! (although there's a Christmas 'team get-together' Crown Hmm planned in the afternoon, which should be reasonably good fun, so can't really complain) .

Happy birthday when it comes!

My fifties have been the best decade of my life. I've honestly never been happier. My advice would be enjoy what you have and look for the positives everywhere.

60 is looming and I'm hoping it's even better!

Thank you! Grin - I'm feeling largely optimistic about the next decade, and hoping my (and my family's) health will hold up - probably the best outcome all round.

My fifties have been the best decade of my life,I'm happy, confident, single, have a job I love.No worries about ''keeping up with the Joneses'' or fashion,I know who I am and am comfortable with it.

Enjoy your older self and be confident in who you've become.

Happy Birthday and forget about your age. Now begins the time when you honestly believe you're still in your 40s. And if you succeed, everyone else will believe it, too.

50s was a mixed bag for me. Some awful stuff happened
And some wonderful stuff, the birth of of most of my grandchildren I think.
Mum hadn’t got dementia.
Meeting my second husband..being treated like I’m the most beautiful woman on this planet, even though I’m not made Up for a lot
60s haven’t been all..we’ve had to cope with some serious health problems so that clouds the view a bit but we are still here
Hopefully putting in the groundwork for our 70 s which aren’t that far away.

Look after your teeth & moisturise like crazy!

My sixties have (so far) been great.

Be grateful you haven’t contracted cancer and won’t live to see your youngest turn 11?
