This weather! What's it like where you are?

It's been pouring steadily since early yesterday morning. Now we've big gusts of wind and it's only just beginning to get light. Still feels properly stormy though.

Windy last night but fairly sunny and calm now.

It's been dry but windy here this weekend. Rained last night but clear skies now. It's been 11-12 degrees as well, feels practically balmy!

I'm in Derbyshire and there have been quite a few floods recently so I'm glad for some dry weather.

So much rain has fallen here (Scotland, Central Belt) there must be places flooding.

It's about 37 degrees. Dry as a bone. Bushfires. Right now we'd love some cool weather & rain!!

Clear skies after a night of heavy rain but 40-50 mph winds. Lots of local Christmas events cancelled today.

North east here, and it's rather blowy but the sky is blue and the sun is shining - perfect day for a walk on the beach to watch the waves crashing against Roker pier!

Very gusty and wet the last couple of days, this morning is clear and not too cold so hoping it stays like this!

I am in Scottish central belt too - it’s been horrendously wet and windy overnight. Not actually raining at the moment but still very windy. Not a day for going out!

Yesterday small Gdcs and lots of others were playing out for ages with no coats on - nice to be able to do that in December.

We did recently have loads of rain, though - a lot more than usual.

West Yorkshire today, on top of a hill complete with airport. Wind gusting around thirty knots but less windy than earlier. Usual winter sunshine and heavy shower mix. Chilly in the wind.

West of Ireland. It's wet & gusty, forecast to get worse this evening. The rain last night was really heavy, I had to drive in it & it wasn't pleasant.

DramaAlpaca I'm in the west of Ireland too and currently weighing up whether to go out or not. I feel like staying indoors but had planned to go to see family.

I'm considering whether to go out or not too, Maude. I want to go Christmas shopping but the wind has picked up a lot in the last hour & now it's absolutely lashing out there.

It's stopped raining just now but still really windy.Wind and rain all night. I'm in Glasgow. It's a day for staying in my jammies with the heating on full.

It's been dry and windy this morning here in North Somerset. But it's just gone dark outside and is starting to rain and big gusts of wind sending leaves swirling in the sky.
I'm in for the day now.
