Holiday clubs- do you get what you pay for?

I’m researching holiday clubs and I’m a bit overwhelmed. There are lots of chain ones near us so does anyone have any general feedback on the following:

Barracudas
SCL
Koosa Kids (loads cheaper than the others)
Ultimate activity
Energy Kidz

Some are in state schools (the cheaper ones) and the more expensive ones are in private schools where swimming tends to be included. For parents in the know, do some of the companies have a better reputation than others? I know some aspects will be dependent on the specific club. The prices seem to range from £25-50 and you have to bring your own food for all of them.

It depends on why you want to use the, My granddaughter attends one as both her parents work and they have no other childcare a lot of the time.
